A basic lubricating oil, of proper viscosity, is all that is required. Direct injection lubrication has proven to be a key to successful operation, resulting in excellent corrosion resistance, blade and bearing life. Ro-Flo’s lube system does not require expensive “compressor” oils. The lube oil that is injected into the compressor is typically coalesced and removed from the process downstream.

Ideal for Difficult Streams

Ro-Flo’s once through lube system has successfully handled gas streams containing butanes, propanes, butadienes, and toluenes. Latex and rubber producers, for example, handle butadiene variants, and Ro-Flo’s compress that toxic gas without difficulty. The optional double bellows seal, with positive pressurization, is often chosen as an extra measure of protection when handling toxic/lethal streams.
